On Oct. 31, 2019, the staff at Community Change who are members of the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU) ratified their second collective bargaining agreement. The contract includes a racial and gender equity article, a newly designed discretionary leave policy, and 16 weeks paid parental leave.
Action Squared employees—creators of progressive online organizing tools — including Action Network and Action Builder — have announced they are unionizing with the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU). Action Squared managers have voluntarily recognized its staff’s union.
The employees of Food & Water Action and Food & Water Watch announced they are joining together to form the FWA/FWW Workers' Union with the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU).
