Staff at Voces de la Frontera Ratify First Collective Bargaining Agreement

Milwaukee, WI – Staff at Voces de La Frontera have finalized a first collective bargaining agreement! Voces Unidxs, the staff union, won voluntary recognition in October 2020 through the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union and this first contract represents years of dedicated work and collective solidarity.
In a unanimous vote, union members ratified the new agreement, which secures improvements in pay, benefits, job security, and more. Some of the key victories include:
An immediate salary increase of 6% or more
Annual COLA increases in 2024 and 2025 of up to 5%
Layoff protections with guaranteed severance pay and advance notice.
Increased time off & codified benefits.

Milwaukee, WI— El personal de Voces de La Frontera ha finalizado un primer convenio colectivo! Voces Unidxs, el sindicato del personal, logró un reconocimiento voluntario en octubre de 2020 a través del Sindicato de Empleados Profesionales sin Fines de Lucro (NPEU) y este primer contrato representa años de dedicada labor y solidaridad colectiva.
Por medio de un voto unánime, los miembros del sindicato ratificaron el nuevo acuerdo, que garantiza mejores salarios, beneficios, seguridad de empleo, y más. Algunos de los logros incluyen:
Un aumento salarial inmediato de 6% o más.
Aumentos anuales en el ajuste por el costo de vida (COLA) en 2024 y 2025 de hasta un 5%.
Protecciones de despido laboral con indemnización por despido garantizada y aviso previo.
Incremento de tiempo libre y beneficios codificados.
