Executive Board Appoints Amy Chin-Lai Interim President

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 19, 2023— The NPEU Executive Board met today and voted to appoint Amy Chin-Lai as Interim President. Amy is vacating the position of Vice-President for Representation and will serve as Interim President until a special election is held in January 2024. Following the special election the newly elected President will serve in that role until the regularly-scheduled officer elections in summer 2024.

NPEU would like to express its sincere appreciation for Hayley in her service as President and previously as VP for Organizing. We look forward to continuing to represent and serve our members under Amy’s leadership.
