Arlington, Va., April 7, 2021 - The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) has recognized their staff’s union, FM Union. FM Union is part of the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU).

“We believe in a feminism that includes and uplifts workers’ rights, and we are excited to start working with FMF leadership to carve out a new path towards equity within our organization,” said the FM Union organizing committee. “We are grateful for the outside support we’ve received through the process thus far, and are eager to begin the next phase of this work.”

“We are so happy for FM Union. We applaud FM Union’s commitment to working with management on a voluntary recognition agreement. FM Union’s success on this demonstrates the power of workers joining together. We look forward to supporting them as they negotiate their first union contract,” said Interim NPEU President Katie Barrows.
